Contrast! First a VH riff on the overdrive channel, then a Brian Setzer tune on the clean one; followed by a moody impro and then some boogie, still with the clean channel.
Guitars used are the Duesenberg Rocket I for the first clip, the Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod for clips 2 and 3 and my modded Squier ’51 for the last one. I used a Carl Martin Red Repeat on clips 2 and 3, and a Vox V810 Valvetone overdrive (set to light boost) on clip 4.
I used the Shure SM57 and T-bone RB500 microphones for recording.

@EMGlespaulMESA It has a 12AX7 in the pre and a 12BH7 in the power amp. The 12BH7 is a double triode (like the 12AX7), so it’s basically two tubes in a single casing. In simple terms a push-pull output stage uses one tube to amplify the positive side of the signal and another one for the negative side. Most amps use this config, as opposed to “single-ended” where only one tube amplifies the whole signal.

The only thing you might have a problem with is that you dont push the amp enough to get the speaker moving like it should.. if you can blast your amp out for a few days just to make the speakers settle in, you will have an awesome low-volume amp!
