Yeah sounds good, but also you can be creative and make some "FREE coupons" saying cute things like "one free kiss" and stuff like that. I did that with my bf for his birthday and he loved it….

If you really hate his shoes, that’s a great gift for every other day, not on a special occasion or something.
A gift should be something that they really like, or you think that they may enjoy that is tailored to their taste. Don’t over spend yourself ok. For example, tech stuff, hardware, tickets to a game, computer stuff, etc.
